GREETINGS FROM THE MAYOR

The Cursa El Corte Inglés race will reach it's 34rd edition this year. A race that breathes beyond its sporting value. Young and old, families, friends and colleagues participate in in a sporting event, coexisting with athletes and amateurs, turning this event into a party for the city of Barcelona.

Sport is critical for Barcelona. The full calendar of sporting events and the long list of the city's entities and clubs are a sign of the complicity of Barcelona towards sports. This helps us promoting healthy habits among Barcelona's population, it helps us empowering values such as effort and compromise. In short, it helps us fostering social cohesion.

This is the reason why I invite you to participate, next April 15th, to make bigger the history of la Cursa and the history of our city!.
